Chapter 52: For the past few weeks...

It's been quite some time since my last update but I can't help it...I was too busy. LOL...

26th February, I tried to 'service' my printer which was not working for more than 3 months. It actually stop working as it reached its life span for some of the parts. So some services were needed in order to make it work again. After some research on the net, I've decided to do it on my own. With some help of the tools, I managed to open the printer and wash the ink pads inside. The ink pads which were completely soaked with ink were taken out and wash in running water. I have to let them dry overnight before they can be put back into the printer again.

After removing the cover.
The pads.

However, the printer still refuse to work even after reset the protective counter. =.= Gonna leave it there for further 'trial and error'.

Still remember my mini lobsters? If not, here's a review of that. Well...after such a long time waiting the next ecdysis, there's still aint any. However on 5th March night, my sister found out that something were tangling from the abdomen of one of the mini lobster. At first, my sister thought that there were some worms or parasites growing there. After the help of torch light, the doubt was clarified. They were LITTLE LOBSTERS. Obviously they were their offspring. Now I know why they always stay inside their little 'log home'.
See that bunch of things tangling?
Close-up reviews that they are the offspring and you can even see their eyes.
Another close-up.

When we thought that's all, something caught up my attention. It was a little thing moving around. A closer look reviews that it was one of the offspring. It left his father. And now only I know that it was the father who carried the offspring and the offspring can actually leave their father whenever they want.
This one swimming around.
Another one exploring the aquarium.

I'll keep an eye on them. More update on these mini lobsters will be posted soon. =p

6th March, special outing. LOL... For this time, it was with KO, ST, Huan Phern, MH, Chien Wei, Zheng Ying and Sao Yun in Queensbay Mall. We've watched 10,000 BC that day.
10,000 BC is a movie which emphasis on the visual effects. Lots of the CG effects were used and it actually ain't too bad. And for the storyline, it actually quite mixed up and it just make me keep thinking..how come they can figure out a story like this. "Egyptians came all from so far to capture some 'pre-historic' people?" I just wonder if Egyptians really existed since 10,000 BC ago. Other than that, the ending was kinda 'magical' and yet 'ridiculous'.

After the movie, we went to Borders Starbucks to have a drink. And for me, I just ordered a tuna danish. First time for me to try that. But it turns out to be quite okay. Not to say bad or great. While we were chatting there, ST kept taking photos of everyone of us. And this made us to make our moves too. Photos can tell.

The danish.
ST avoiding the cameras.

Later at 7pm, we went to have our dinner at Macedoine Dining. The dish was....ermm...kinda weird taste. I don't know why but that just doesn't suits my taste bud. Especially the green sauce..totally turn down my appetizer. Don't know what kinda cuisine is this. However, others' orders seems not bad. The price ain't too high in Queensbay Mall.

12th March...The day has finally came. SPM result being released. Early in the morning, we still went to play basketball until 9 something. After I've taken my bath, KO fetched KH, GS and me to the school. We were joking all the way to school. Around 10 something, we reached the school. Its weird that some people was actually leaving there with a paper file on their hands. It turns out to be that the result have been released. After I reached the class where I should have taken my result, I saw lots of my ex-classmates there. Soon, I collected my results but I still don't realised my result until one of my friend just snatched it and look for me. I was like WTH...I can hardly believe I got that result. I was expecting like 6 or 7 A's. Pheww...thank god that I was being blessed. Well, the result actually not that nice yet..I was like almost getting a straight A2's. However, if compared with my results in school, this was exaggerating. After some chit chat with friends, we all back to our respective home. Soon, I went to Queensbay Mall earlier as I have to take my lunch there at Wong Kok Restaurant. Later that day, YY and ST dropped by around 4pm. At 5pm, I've my dinner with them at the Breeks Cafe.

At 10.30 pm, ST followed me back to my house. After YY arrived, we left to Chun You's house. We are the last to arrive that day. The rest already enjoying themselves there.

At 12am sharp, I've to send YY and ST back as ST going to have the car test the next day. Well thanks to Chun You and the other guys, we did some great time there. After back to house around 12.50, it was the time for newspaper reading before I went to bed at 1.10am.

On 13rd of March, I watched movie with YW at Queensbay Mall GSC. Contacted her at noon just to check out whether she recovered from the fever. And YES, she did recovered so we decided to go for a movie that day. I arrived a bit late that day around 2pm. YW suggested to watch Rule#1. None of us know that it was a horror movie until YW asked the staff there when she was buying the tickets for Cindy and her friend. Cindy and her friend arrived at time and when we were about to enter, we were asked for our IC as the movie is strictly for 18 and above. All of us turn out to be 18 and for Cindy? She didn't bring her IC along and in that case, she can't enter the cinema. Therefore she and her friend change to watch Chronicles of Spiderwick while YW and I watched Rule#1.

He is so damn nice looking and yet good in acting.

Rule#1 was definitely a horror movie. The opening was a shock for me. The movie was actually bloody and the storyline was not that bad, at least it was interesting for me. The ending was so damn surprising. It was completely out of my expectation. Thumbs up for the scriptwriter and the director. At first I thought it was some action movie but suddenly it turns out to be a horror movie. DUH...nearly got me out of my seat that time... -.- This movie was horror enough for me as it shows everything and it was like so terrified when you saw someone being possessed and eventually tortured themselves till die. So anyone of you out there who missed this movie, should actually watch it especially for those who loves horror movies. This is for sure a movie not to miss.

After the movie, we chit-chat a bit before leaving home as I need to have dinner with family that night.

Anyway ST has passed her driving test on 13th of March. Well...now she can drive legally on the road. However, none of us has the chance to be one of her passengers yet. Maybe it's a good thing too!? LOL...

The next day, 14th of March. I received a birthday present from a close friend of mine. Well, I was surprised when I unwrapped the present. It was 2 tortoise figure piggy bank. LOL....I like it so much! For sure, I'll treasure it and well...THANKS a lot! ^^

On 16th of March, I've watched movie after my work with KO, YW, Cindy and Ai Mun. And the movie was Ah Long Pte.
I heard from friends that the movie was kinda funny and a bit explicit. This is the second time for KO to watch this time. After we bought the tickets, we have our dinner at Chopper Board just before the movie started. The movie is about the triad world and underground loan business. Then as usual was being presented in Singaporean-Malaysian humour. As this is a comedy, can't really have high expectation on the storyline itself. After the movie, we went down to the McDonald's for some light meal before we went home respectively.

Night of 17th March, after WL and I finished my work, we went to LA Galaxy which located at Upper Penang Road to meet the rest. They were having some kinda outing as KO will soon off to National Service. We arrived there roughly 11 and had some hard time to locate them as we never went there before. I've just order a Cranberry juice there and the environment was just...ain't that pleasing. We didn't stay till too late that night and went off soon around 12 something.

18th of March, after I finished my work at 6pm, I watched Chronicles of Spiderwick along with YY, ST and ST's so called colleague, Ah Yew.
Chronicles of Spiderwick turns out to be a kid's movie. =.= It was an adventurous, fantasy and a little bit of comedy type of movie. It was totally out of my expectation (blame me not to watch the trailers first). The movie is all around that house out of nowhere and some CG generated goblins here and there. Other than that, the storyline is just for kids (that's what I can say). Overall, if compared with Chronicles of Narnia or Lords of The Ring, this is completely out of its league. And its okay for you to actually miss this movie.
