I've went out with friends for a few times since I'm back to Penang, mostly with Gang of 5(4 to b precise) and VJS(JS to be precise). LOL...I've watched Alien vs Predator 2, National Treasure 2, The Game Plan, John Rambo and In The Name of The King(not sure if I've left out any). Oh yea...Warlords.
AVP 2 was much disappointing. Don't really think the storyline was well planned. The movie should be filmed better, with better actions and storyline.
National Treasure 2...shouldn't be said a Superb film...but it was better than AVP2 for sure. The movie was full of thrill and shouldn't be considered a waste of money if you watched it.
Now, the Game Plan. Thought it would be something really funny and short. However it turned out to be a kinda too long for a comedy. The movie is about 2 hours and some part of the movie just ain't that funny. Overall, still acceptable and I think most of the girls like this movie much. LOL...
And for John Rambo. Thumbs up for this movie. LOL...Fully packed with actions and explosion. The storyline is straight forward and the movie is kinda short(1 hour and a half). You'll definitely crave for more after you've watched it. I never thought an action movie can be filmed in such 'crazy' way...the gunshots...the head-bursting scene, etc....made my adrenaline pumping throughout the movie.
Well..for In The Name of The King, it was a movie much alike 'Lord of the Ring' style but which is much shorter. Based on Dungeon Sieze, this movie was not much disappointing but the movie is not so smooth, at least for me, I felt that the movie should be edited up better and the battle scene should be made more impressively.
Nearly left out this movie. Warlords...a nice movie indeed. For sure, you wouldn't waste your money for this movie. Nice plot, nice acting, nice effect. Though a bit brutal, still acceptable. Like the actors. All so professional in acting. And on the 5th of January, I've enrolled for the Alliance Francaise French Beginner Course. I've been looking forward to join the class since years ago but just don't have the chance to do so. And this year, I will not miss it again. All of my friends were like so unbelievable when they heard that I'm taking the course. -.-" The class is FUN. LOL...My teacher, Ms Yvonne is a nice person. The way she teach also fun and interesting. The class for now, is only 5 students including me. And of course, the cafe. I like this too...LOL...like to have a choco drink and have a croissant during the rest there. And by the way, there will be cultural events from time to time and French movies will be screened and French restaurant will be opened twice a week. Too bad I still don't have the chance to try the French food there. Overall, I didn't regret for enrolling the class. For the time being, just wish I can revise often and brush up my French. LOL...
15th January, my birthday. Spend my time with my fellow friends, ended up having dinner at T.G.I Friday. It was a bad bad choice. I seriously warn any out there try to avoid TGI on you birthday. If not, you're just going to embarrassed yourself there. Overall, that night was great. It was my 18th birthday and my first birthday to be celebrated with my friends. Well...what else I can say...THANKS alot amis! ^^(regarding the photos that day...please check with zw's blog...too embarrassed to be uploaded here...)
Other than that, we wouldn't forgot the birthday of ST. Her birthday is 23rd January. However, we celebrated it on 22th as some of us aren't free on 23rd. I made my very first dish of spaghetti that day too. As I was in rush to go to Queensbay Mall with my friends and I don't have the camera at that time, I just managed to come out with something like this. -.-
Around 11 something, we all went to a lounge at E-Gate for the celebration. For me, I don't really like the atmosphere there as I really Hate people smoking especially in air-conditioned space. So selfish. However, it was great that all of us can celebrate her birthday together. What special was that we did request ST not to blown off but to 'suck off' the candle. LOL...yeah..it was ridiculous to do so but she did obey us. LOL... And of course it wouldn't work. kekez... (most of the photos still unavailable...will be uploaded as soon as I got it)And 1 thing not to be left out is that, we(gang of '4' & JS) have made our Dearest friend YY a lovely card while she was in the NS camp. Our purpose of making the card is simple, just wanna let her know how much we MISS her out here and how much we CARE about her. The card took us SOME time to finish it. Other than that, we need to arrange a suitable time so most of us can actually meet together and work on the card. We took some photos, thanks to CY who is pro in photographing and managed to come out with some photos. Each rainbow colours represent each of us. After editing by CY, the final piece to be used is like this.
The so-call card.
On 26th of January, KH and I went to Tesco post office to mail this card for her. I was in doubt whether the card will ever reach her hands. So worried that she can't even have the chance to look at the card. But turns out that I was over reacted. She got received the card. ^^ Too bad she didn't burst into tears. LOL...
31st of January, went to Queensbay Mall to meet Emily. Didn't see her for roughly half year since Bon Odori 07 . Benedict, Ming Han is with her that day. I just walk with them for a while before I joined back with Kok Oon, Zheng Ying and ZW. What so coincidence was all of us watched the same movie, Meet The Spartans.
Hmm...this movie is way 'dirtier' than I expected. -.- Kinda short movie but no doubt that it brings laughter. Some parts are boring but overall still acceptable for this kinda movie. After the movie, loitered around the mall with my friends before going back home THANKS to ZW. LOL...These is just part of my life in the January of 2008.
