Chapter 39: The outing before I'm temporary away from Penang...

Oh yes, back from hotel stay..and now I got to go out with my friends again. Kekez...but also means that I'm going to spend money again..argh... ><" This time, it was kinda hurry. Almost everything was last minute job. Although we contacted each other a few days before, but we didn't actually talk detailed about it. In the morning, we contacted each other and have a time in our mind. However I was kinda late that day. So sorry to KH and others. LOL..It was because I need to trim my hair as it was kinda messy. We did successfully reach there and meet up with each other[(Gang of 5 except Kok Oon + VJS except YY)Jovy arrived later after the movie and ST's cousin also joined us]. KH insisted of having his lunch before the movie...even before buying the tickets... -.-" Luckily all of us managed to get ourselves the ticket for the movie 'I am Legend' though GS had to sit alone but I'm sure he was enjoying himself there. ^^ The movie was not bad. Didn't actually let me down. The effect was great, the storyline wasn't bad too. Although some part was kinda boring but overall its another movie which worth for the money.

After the movie, we off to find some light meal while ST send her cousin off. Well, it wasn't me who make her to talk from the South Zone to the North Zone and back to the South Zone. It just wasn't me. LOL...End up at Coffee Bean again. Haihz..can foresee that my wallet gonna empty once again. We met Chien Hooi, Ming Han and Jun Xiang just outside the cafe. I've a Hot Choc this time and a piece of blueberry cheese cake. While I was waiting for my drinks to be ready, I was wondering what's the whole jar of warm fresh milk for. The staff keep knocking the stainless steel container and waiting for it to cool of I think. "What drink going to be served with that?" I was thinking to myself. After a few minutes, I saw her pouring that fluffy milk into a tall glass and stirred it a bit. Then later on, added some chocolate powder into it and kept on stirring. After that, some fluffy milk again until the glass is full. Well, the drink is now ready to be served. She gave it to me as like she knew it was my order. I was shocked. "Wth...hot choc is made from fluffy milk with choc powder..!!??!Oh Gosh..." I was doubt is that going to be tasty at all. I purposely asked her as if that's the hot choc and she gave me a stun look and said "yeah, that's hot choc." -.-

Eww...it was better if I didn't see the process. LOL...but actually the drink was nice if you ignored the fluffy milk foam floating which taste bad. The cake was another tasty food you can find in the cafe.

We chat while having the light meal there. The full glass of hot choc was approximately 0.4 litre if not mistaken(as marked at the glass). I was actually full when I finished both of them. At 5.40, ZW left us and ST had to send her off to Sushi King. We continued our chatting till ST was back. Around 6 something, we left there..wishing we may meet ZW at Sushi King. However, she was still having some learning course at the kitchen. So CY, GS and others went home first. Left ST, KH and me. In the end, we went into the Sushi King. ZW was wearing the cute uniform and she definitely looks like the Red Riding Hood as what CY commented. LOL...

She definitely need more practice. Her hands actually trembled while she was holding two jar of tea. LOL...and she need to practice pouring the tea too. I guess it might be her first time to do these. LOL...I ate a lot that day. Actually I ate 98% of all of us. LOL...spent some money and off we went back home while ST waiting for her dad to fetch her for dinner.

Sorry as I've to keep this post short. Now its almost 1 in the morning and I still have things to pack. LOL..But before I went off for my vacation. My dad bought some 'Tang Yuan' to celebrate 'Dong Zhi' in advance. Its been a long long time since I've eat this. LOL...

Chapter 38: Hotel Stay...

14th of December, first day for my family hotel stay. It will be from 14th till 17th of December. The hotel is full for those days. We had to stay at the top floor which we never stay there before. As usual, its the suite. A living room, a standard bedroom, a dining room and a bathroom is available. This time, there have been renovation by the hotel management. New air-condition, new sofas and only left some not renew.

TV is the only way I can entertain myself over there. Luckily the TV can function and has a few channel for me to choose. I didn't went to the beach this time. Mostly stay at the suite watching TV. My mom and sister went out to Gurney Plaza for shopping while I stay at there. But Sunday, it left me and my sister at the hotel while parents went to Ipoh. Therefore my sister 'zi mui' come and fetch us to GP for lunch and shopping. We went to the Ramen shop which is recently open. The food was ok. A bit salty but quite much. Don't think mostly girls can finish it. LOL..

After the lunch, as what girls mostly do as their exercise...it was shopping time. Well..my sis's friend was looking for a present. So we visited almost every merchandise shop. I was kinda bored in the middle of that. In fact, I was so absent minded that I accidentally knock the window while trying to look closer to the displayed item. -.-" Gosh, it was like...ergh...my nose...crooked..lol...and its so embarrassing. Although there aint much people around but I think the shopkeepers did notice that as it was kinda loud too. LOL...After she got the present, its back to shopping time again. PDI, Padini and others...went in one by one. They are having their shopping spree.

In the mean time, I was encourage by my sister to watch the Looney Tunes performance. Being told that they are cute. And I can't deny that. They are really cute. LOL...funny dance move...

In the end, its me who bought something. LOL...but its fair for me to buy that shorts since it was quite sometime I've bought any. =) Later after we went back, I continue with my TV while they chat in the room till my parents back and off we go to a nearby restaurant for dinner. At 10.30 of 17th, we check out. Finally I can hang out with my fellow friends again. ^^

Chapter 37: QB again...

After I reached home from the apartment stay, I was planning to go out again. Can't waste any precious time again. LOL..too much time wasted. Well end up in Queensbay Mall again. I was er....LUCKY to have YY out that day as she was free.We went there for dinner. It was surprised for me to meet a number of friends there. Some working there while others just simply hang out at there. I tried the new set meals at Wong Kok. Can't actually differentiate the differences anyway. LOL...Later on, we went for a few rounds of Daytona at the arcade. And I was totally stunned to see Kok Oon and Zheng Ying there. Too bad to know that ZY failed his driving test. But I'm sure that he can pass the test next time. After that, we headed to the Coffee Bean for a drink. I tried out the Pure Choc. Ice Blended. It was too sweet for me. Perhaps they put in the wrong amount of syrup.LOL..We chat for some time before heading back. Too bad to know that YY going to KL on 15th. She'll not be able to join the rest of us for the movie "I am Legend".

Argh..spent money again..gonna broke soon. ><" However, I did enjoy my day and once again thanks to YY's dad for fetching me back again. LOL...

Chapter 36: Apartment Stay...

Well..11th of December..the first day for my class apartment stay. First time for me. I only starts to pack my bags at 11.30 when I need to reach Tze Jian's house at 1 sharp. Simply packed up the bag and I'm off to TJ's house. Later on, JJ's mom send all of us to Sri Sayang(opposite Rasa Sayang).

It is an apartment with two bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen, two bathrooms and a balcony. It needs to accommodate 26 of us. Therefore, it wasn't really that spacious after all. The bathroom was still ok, quite clean. Then its the TV, I wonder how come there was just that small TV in the apartment and yet it couldn't work at all.

After we've settle down at the apartment, we went for a stroll at the beach. It's kinda cloudy that day. But we couldn't care much, still wanna spend the afternoon at the beach. Luckily it didn't rain.^^ Beach futsal, fooling around in the water and horse riding is among the few activities at the beach that afternoon. Then we left there before 5, just to make sure that we've time to prepare for the barbecue at night.

After a short while, we were heading back to the beach with a handful of foods and barbecue tools. kekez...this is what life meant for...barbecue at the beach...LOL...Although we faced some difficulties when starting the fire but this aint stopping us from barbecue that night. We did succeed to satisfy out taste bud. CY is among the few elites there which represent KRS that can start the fire. LOL...

After we've fed ourselves, it was chatting and singing time...LOL...Some of us were quite boring till that they can build their own sand pyramid...

Around 10, we packed up and left the beach back to the apartment. Some of us went to bed early around 1 or 2 in the morning. Others stay late at night till 5 something. I'm not sure whether there's someone who stay awake for the whole night. For those football fans, they slept first and woke at 3 something to go to Mamak stall and watch the live broadcast. For me, its a hell session for poker cards. A few continuous hours of poker is the only activity for me that night. Others enjoying themselves with Mahjong instead of poker. Its the first time I play and I was quickly used to it. LOL..Till 5.10, others refused to play so we all went to sleep. I had my personal bed at there. It was a chair.

7 to 8 people in each room and others in the living room.LOL...At 6.50, I woke up right before my alarm rang. I was surprised to see people lying all around at the living room.

Having a nice shower is definitely what I need at that moment. After some light breakfast which I asked from my fellow friends, it was time for us to go for Gurney Plaza. At there, it was around 29 of us for Redbox. Quite a large croud. As we arrived earlier than the time we reserved, they arranged us to Martell room first.
At 1 sharp, we transfered to the Room 3. Its a larger room but I don't think there was enough seat for all of us. Singing and singing....A sudden birthday wishes on the screen surprised me. When all of us still wondering what had happened, the waiter sprung in with a birthday cake. It was dedicated to JJ, Jun Xiang and Lay Yih. They all have their birthday in December. The party at Redbox was also meant for JJ, as a farewell ceremony for him before he went off to Singapore to further his studies. McD was next. And after that, a group photo at the gurney drive.

After dinner at gurney drive food court which is expensive and not tasty at all, we went back to the apartment. Some left earlier as they got their own plans. 16 were left at the apartment. Poker again when back to the apartment while others chat or played Mahjong. At 10, some of us were hungry and we end up at the malay stall in front the apartment. A plate of 'mee goreng' and a glass of 'limau ais' is quite enough for me that day. For the second night, I can't stay too late so i went to sleep before 1.

For the next morning, after we packed our stuff, we left the apartment at 11 something. The apartment stay was great. Nice experience for me and an intensive poker training for me. LOL...take care yea my friends...

Chapter 35: A movie...

Finally going to watch the Golden Compass. I've heard many comments from my friends, causing me lots of doubt whether is this the right movie. The comments were much extreme. Some said it was terrible and some said it was a nice movie. LOL...To proof who is right and who is wrong, I've to watch it myself. On 10th of December, I went for the movie with ST who is also free and not yet watch the movie. Its odd that actually she aint that busy for this holidays. Usually she must be spending her time with her gang and her 'fans'. =p

I reached at the mall around 3.45pm, waiting for ST. Waiting and waiting makes me hungry. The smell of the waffle quickly dominated my mind. I just can't resist by that time.

Finally she arrived around 4pm. We chat and chat while waiting to be seated. That day was so odd to meet so many friends and senior. Wonder if they all hanging out together. LOL...

Golden Compass....Not that terrible as what I heard of and neither that nice...but I don't think I've wasted my money for this movie. Maybe the effects is just nice and about the storyline, not too bad either, just think wisely and you might just understand. LOL...

You shouldn't hope for too much for this movie. ^^

After the movie, it was another long 'chatting' period before YY and ZW arrived from their 'happy' and 'enjoyable' driving theory. Time was running out, so they had to have some bread just for their dinner. LOL...I left there soon after they enter the cinema for Enchanted.

p/s: ST ar...u shud eat some popcorn k...not just only hotdogs....LOL

Chapter 34: Still the same....

Life is still the same after so many days of having fun...Still continue to hang out with friends as I know that there are not much time for me to spend with them. Lots of plans have occupied my precious time which I should have reserved for my friends...kinda regret that I've planned wrongly. ><" 9th of December... After visiting my uncle as I was going back home with family, I phoned Kok Oon. End up to spend some time and money in Queensbay. LOL....aikz..this whole holidays is just like spending time and money. We stroll around the mall and as usual, spend some time in the arcade. Around 4, I was quite hungry and we started to look for any suitable restaurant. In fact, KO was not that hungry but I had to eat so he was forced to join in. Kekez...Palace of India is the final choice. KO has recommend before, so I made my decision to try it out. We've the "India Pizza" which is affordable. LOL...

Before we left, we were served with the complimentary coffee called "Bombay Coffee" if I'm not mistaken. However, it taste like a thick Nescafe after 'tarik'. Nothing special about the coffee other than the cup. A stainless steel cup with a lid(or a bowl..cant really describe that stuff).

We left when our stomach is full. Nothing much to do there. I was bored till I can even snap the photo of the Christmas tree in Queensbay.

Around 7, we planned to leave Queensbay. Out of a sudden, I spotted ST with her parents. First time saw her with her parents to mall. She was like soooo close to her mom. Her mom should be happy to have this daughter. LOL..

Chapter 33: SPM is OVER!

SPM finally finished on 4th of December. It marks the point for me to leave my high school. No more high school uniform again! All will remain as memories and histories that will lies in my mind.

However, the end of SPM means I need to tidy up all my books. LOL...Lots of books...though I don't know how come there's soooo much books. In the end, there's 5 stack of books need to be thrown away and 2 stack of books for me to sell. I just found out that there are lots of reference books which are still new and still didn't even touch by me. Aikz... How can I be so wasting? Just waste my parents precious money....so damn regret now... ><"

1st
The night after SPM ends was superb. LOL...its been months(or years) since I was having so much fun. LOL...It was some sort of small gathering for the primary school friends of mine(Gang of 5+VJS). I went to Queensbay with Ghee Siong and we've dinner at the Old Town before meeting with others. I had 2 pieces of kaya butter toast and a coffee which were actually kinda too much for me. Howere, GS whose is kinda fond of Old Town ordered a cup of milk tea, 1 half-boiled egg, a French toast and a garlic toast. BUT, when he was having his French toast, he only realised that he can hardly swallow the garlic toast anymore. Unluckily, he need to finished the tasty garlic toast when I refused to have that for him. =p

Around 9, we met others at the cinema. I was kinda surprise to see jovy's parents there too..LOL..but it was ok...her parents were friendly and easy going. We watched HITMAN that night. It was definitely hilarious when we queue to walk in the cinema. GS was sort of er...'guide'(or also can be said as 'pimp') as he tried to make sure all of us make it into the cinema. LOL...Well, the movie didn't actually let me down. As what I've expected, it was packed with actions and style which cause me to crave for more. This movie did drive me to play the game itself someday.....

After the movie ended, it was around 11 something. The mall was sort of being deserted. All the shops have closed and not many people left around in the mall other than some janitors.

After that, we decided went to a nearby cafe for some drinks. The cafe was not bad. There is someone singing and some mosquitoes having their own party around. I would highly recommend those out there, if you wish to have a nice place where you can actually chat with your friends, please do find a place which is quiet enough and not having loud music. Otherwise, having a conversation is definitely difficult. One thing not to miss out...the drinks....I wouldn't really care that much if the drinks are nice and it cost a lot. BUT, the drinks aint acceptable at all. I wonder if the workers there have ever drink them. All of the drinks are damn weird in their taste. I've a cup of hot choc which cost around rm9(nt cheap for me). I expect it to be concentrated but when the drink was served, it was tasteless. I thought maybe it needs some sugar. However, after 2 packs of sugars, it still made no difference. Still taste like diluted Milo which isn't sweet at all. The 'hot choc' turned cool quite quickly although there aint any air condition. And I can confirmed that it was non-drinkable. I think it would be my last drink at there.

After taking photos, we left there and went to the nearby coast which near the queensbay roundabout. I can't actually say that the air there was fresh but at least there are wind. And at that time, my mind was kinda shut down. Dizzy and sleepy...but the wind did help. LOL Before we went back, we had some photos at the roundabout. Finally we went back around 1 if not mistaken. It was tiring for me, but it was definitely fun and memorable for me. I did have a splendid time.^^

2nd day...
An early wake up at 6.30 with the intention to play basketball. But when I contacted Kok Oon, he and CY had already reached the school. Erggh, I should have contacted them earlier..-.- Well, I've no choice but to stay at home. I woke up earlier than my parents that day and I was like a house maid for my mom. Having lots of task, clean the car posh, tidy this and that...I can foresee that doing housework chores will be my part-time job in my upcoming holidays. I was lucky that day, without yy's daddy's kindness, I don't think I'll make it to gurney. LOL..thx a lot...we reached gurney plaza around 12. Meet up with Yee Fun and the rest of her 'family'. Well, first event of the day...REDBOX...As I don't sing, I don't usually go to Redbox but since its a nice day, it was an exception for me though I knew that they will try every possible ways to force me to sing. However, their conspiracy was failed. Kekez....Later on, we WALKED to One-Stop just for a game of bowling, snooker and some arcade. Well, its been a long long time since I last played bowling. Bowling was still that fun. ST should try on bowling..as YY discover that she got her own talent for playing bowling. LOL...=p A few rounds of free Daytona with the girls made me wondered are these girls going to drive on the road soon? It must be dangerous...LOL...especially YY ler...drive till so aggressive...While the girls are playing DDR(the favourite game for them), I tried out Initial D which I'm not familiar with. With the help of boon yan, I managed to play for a few rounds with jz 2 tokens. It was raining when Yee Fun and her family need to go home. So thanks to her, YY, ST and I managed to go back to Gurney Plaza. YY insisted of going to Coffee Bean for drinks though we need to dash across the open air while it was raining to reach the cafe. We went to look for ST's dream phone after we finished the drinks. Then after that was the searching for the suitable place to have our dinner. None of the restaurants seem to suit us(there are someone being fussy).LOL...In the end, its the McDonald. Don't know why that day I don't really have that appetite. Maybe due to the Caramel Ice Blended and maybe it was because ST keep teasing me this and that. Kekez...The two ladies just have a few nuggets and some french fries. I don't think I'm going for any McD recently....

Once again, YY's dad went to fetch us back. Thanks him a lot! ^^ However on the way back, ST awaken YY's sis. This is devastating. I don't know why is she being sooo friendly with me..LOL...even got me a nickname...-.-" I don't think I'll mention the name here. It was soo odd. LOL..Anyway, it was another special day for me...nice and memorable...=)

3rd day...
6th of December, GS fetch me, ming han and chien wei to Cosmic of Sunshine Square to play snooker at 2. We meet up with Benedict and headed straight to Queensbay Mall for movie with Yen Wei, Cindy and Cindy's cousin. It was Enchanted. A movie which still acceptable though the story line is the classic Disney style which is the girl's favourite. Anyway that day, I met Wei Zheng, my primary school classmate which didn't contact him for 5 years and also Nian Ci who I didn't see her for years. After the movie, we headed back our house for dinner.

4th day...
Woke up at 7, waiting for GS to fetch me and KO to school to sell the books and to play basketball. After we had our breakfast, we headed straight to the school.

Around 12 noon, we left the school. If there's more than 1 vehicle among GS and other friends, its definitely something interesting going to happen. 'Die trying to be faster than others?' That's GS motive...haha...and of course others too. Luckily no accidents involved till now.

Later that afternoon, I went to ST's bro's condominium for a game of badminton. Led by ST's father, I finally reached the condo which is a few kms from the main road. At first, I thought it was a simple and relax game for that day. But soon I saw ST's father's gear, I knew I was totally wrong. I was definitely wrong....Her father was like a professional player. Skills and stamina are top notch. Rules are ABC for him...and he was like a coach there..taught us lots of skills about badminton. LOL...thanks Uncle Ooi.....YY, her bro and her friend(Yee Hoong) were having plenty of fun. Too bad another expert didn't teach me to play badminton. LOL...At 5, I went back home.

5th day....
Today I stay at home...accompany with PPStream which is my favourite entertainment software at home. Lots of movies and series.

Chapter 32: OMG....

Yesterday morning, I saw that there were 3 mini lobster in my aquarium. I was shock as one of them was upside down and there should just 2 mini lobster and not 3. I was totally confused. Thinking whether my parents have bought another 1 and 1 of them has died. But in the end, the doubt was clarified that the female had undergone ecdysis(moulting).

Well, the female lobster sure has been behaving odd for the last few days. Keep avoiding the food and less active than usual. Anyway this is the first time I see this. I never thought that lobster also undergoes ecdysis. LOL.. I'll try to capture the video of the process next time if I'm lucky enough to see the process. It must be interesting.

Chapter 31: Here comes GS with the plan...

While I was thinking that it was another boring day, my phone rang. It was Ghee Siong. As usual, it was some kind of plan. "Going to Gold Coast for sports at 5...",said GS. The clock was pointing at 4.45. I was still chatting with my friends over the net, still can't decide whether going to the PC Fair or not. In the end, it's going to Gold Coast first...kekez

It was lucky for us as it was Khai Hern who drove us there. Otherwise we'll only reach there around six if it was GS who always LATE....lol..Today, the 'Gang of 5' was only 4 as NoiNoi can't make it as he have dinner at night. However we've Gang of '4' + Jian Wei for today...everyone was pack up with their gear heading to Gold Coast in the Civic.

As the sun is going down soon, we can only play squash though GS went to the Gym to build up his muscles...Squash was definitely an exhausting game....Same as usual, it was tiring for me as I didn't play squash frequently. However, we did exercise and have fun.
